Deepankur is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA) and has done his graduation in law from CCS University (LL.B). He has also done his graduation in commerce from Delhi University (B.Com (H)) and has undertaken a certification from ICAI in goods and service tax (‘GST’)

He has multiple years of post qualification experience in Big 4 firms in taxation and regulatory division and has vast experience in domestic and international taxation, expatriate taxation, foreign exchange regulations, etc.

Deepankur has provided consultancy services to corporates in telecom, technology, brewery, education, pharmaceutical sector and has advised clients extensively on various matters pertaining to domestic taxation, international taxation, cross border investment structuring, funding and cash repatriation strategies. He has also advised entities on alternate operating models to conduct their business in India and has advised and assisted multinationals to set-up their businesses in India. He specializes in international taxation including inbound and outbound investment structuring, issues pertaining to exposure of permanent establishment in India, interpretation of double tax avoidance agreements and has worked in the area of global mobility and employee taxation from inbound and outbound perspectives. He has advised and assisted clients in dealing with foreign exchange regulations such as forex remittances, RBI approvals, foreign investments, External Commercial Borrowings, Overseas Direct Investment.
